Program Information

Daily Requirements

Students need to bring food from home each day, including:

A snack for recess
A small snack for brain food time
Lunch (which can be heated in a microwave by staff)

Transport

A bus is provided free of charge for students travelling to and from the IEC.

Students are picked up from a bus stop near their home
Students are returned to a designated bus stop in the afternoon
An adult must be present at the bus stop in the morning and at pick-up time

Transport Assistance

Transport assistance requires submission of an official request form.

Forms must be completed for new requests, continuing requests or address changes
Incomplete forms cannot be processed
Applications may take up to 5 working days for processing
Students may be placed on a waitlist if transport is unavailable

Parent Responsibilities

Ensure the child arrives at the bus stop at least 5 minutes early
Accompany the child to and from the bus stop if required
Collect the child from school if unavailable at drop-off time

Transport Assistance

Students may be eligible for transport to and from the Intensive English Classes. A transport request form is required to apply.
