Digital Technologies are embedded across our curriculum to enhance learning in every subject area. As technology continues to evolve, we are committed to equipping students with the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to succeed now and into the future.

Through purposeful and meaningful use of digital tools, students are supported to think critically, collaborate effectively and express their ideas in creative ways.

Student Learning

Digital Technologies in the Primary Years

Digital Technologies are integrated across all year levels, providing students with opportunities to explore, create and collaborate in meaningful ways.

Students are encouraged to develop independence and confidence while using technology to support their learning.

Work independently and collaboratively using Google applications
Present their learning through a variety of digital platforms
Explore coding and computational thinking using tools such as Scratch and introductory HTML
Use a range of devices including iPads, Chromebooks and laptops
Supporting staff to continually develop their digital and e-safety skills
Develop typing skills in preparation for NAPLAN Online
Participate in explicit cyber safety lessons

E-Safety

Building Responsible Digital Citizens

At Moil Primary School, digital learning goes hand-in-hand with teaching safe and responsible technology use. Through explicit lessons, guided discussions and real-world examples, students develop a strong understanding of digital responsibility.
